Tolar developer documentation
Tolar HashNET combines its DAG consensus model with EVM execution and legacy Tolar interfaces. Start with a read-only request, then choose the integration path your application needs.
Choose your starting point
Section titled “Choose your starting point”- Quickstart: verify an endpoint and make your first request.
- Network settings: mainnet and testnet RPC, chain IDs and explorers.
- RPC & compatibility: Ethereum and Tolar behavior, with important differences.
- Transactions & fees: submission, nonces, fee quotes and receipts.
- Tracing & history: explorer and indexer integration.
- Run a node: node roles, bootstrap and operational references.
Start with testnet
Section titled “Start with testnet”Mainnet uses real TOL. Use testnet for development, and confirm the RPC URL before signing. Tolar’s chain IDs overlap Ethereum network IDs, so a chain ID is not enough to identify the network.
This website is informational: it does not handle keys or submit transactions for you.
Source and deployment are different
Section titled “Source and deployment are different”These guides describe V2 implementation behavior. Mainnet and testnet can run different releases or configurations. Check the endpoint and the relevant release before relying on an optional method.

V2 source and operator release access are not publicly linked at present. Contact Tolar for access; do not install an unverified third-party node binary.
